At Sweet 2B Sugared, every appointment is thoughtfully reserved to provide a comfortable, personalized experience. As a private, appointment-only studio, these policies help me maintain a welcoming environment while respecting both your time and mine. Please review the following information before booking. By scheduling an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.
APPOINTMENTS & RESERVATIONS
All services are available by appointment only. Booking in advance is recommended, as availability is limited. A valid credit or debit card is required to secure your reservation. Please select all services you wish to receive when booking so enough time can be reserved for your appointment. Payment is due at the conclusion of your appointment unless otherwise specified.
APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS
All appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Automated reminders and confirmation requests are sent through Square Appointments. Clients are responsible for confirming their appointments, even if a reminder is missed or not received. Appointments that remain unconfirmed may be canceled to allow availability for other clients.
CONSULTATION & CONSENT FORMS
Required consultation and consent forms are sent electronically after booking. All required forms must be completed at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. Appointments with incomplete forms will be canceled. Please provide accurate information regarding allergies, medications, skincare products, health conditions, and recent treatments that may affect your service. This information helps ensure your treatment is appropriate for your skin and individual needs.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
I understand that schedules change and unexpected situations happen. If you need to cancel, reschedule, or remove a scheduled service from your appointment, at least 24 hours notice is required. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total cost of all scheduled services. If you remove a service from your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a fee equal to 50% of the canceled service’s price will apply. Services added to an existing appointment are not subject to a cancellation fee, provided sufficient time is available.
These policies help protect the time specifically reserved for your care.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. A 7 minute grace period is provided. If you arrive more than 7 minutes after your scheduled start time, your appointment will be canceled and a fee equal to 50% of the total scheduled services will apply. Because each appointment includes time for treatment, preparation, and sanitation, I am unable to extend appointments to accommodate late arrivals.
NO-SHOW APPOINTMENTS
A no-show occurs when a client does not arrive for their scheduled appointment without providing notice. No-show appointments will result in a fee equal to 50% of the total scheduled services. Repeated cancellations, late arrivals, or no-shows will result in restrictions on future bookings.
HEALTH & ILLNESS
Your health and well being, along with maintaining a safe studio environment, are important to me. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, including fever, cold or flu symptoms, or a contagious condition, please do not attend your appointment. Contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss your options. While the standard cancellation policy applies, I understand that unexpected illnesses can occur. Exceptions may be considered individually depending on the circumstances. Clients who arrive visibly ill or with symptoms that may compromise health and safety may have their appointment canceled, and applicable cancellation fees may apply. Services may also be postponed or modified when skin conditions, irritation, or other health concerns make treatment inappropriate.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Your safety is important. Standard cancellation policies remain in effect throughout the year. However, exceptions may be considered when an official weather advisory or hazardous travel conditions affect the Grand Rapids metropolitan area.
Please communicate as early as possible if severe weather may prevent you from attending. Weather-related exceptions are determined individually.
ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN
Sweet 2B Sugared is a private studio operating by appointment only.
Upon arrival, please send a text to (616) 777-7188 to check in and wait for confirmation before entering the studio. This allows me to finish preparing your treatment space and ensure each client receives an uninterrupted experience. Walk-ins are not accepted.
CHILDREN & ADDITIONAL GUESTS
Services are available to clients ages 18 and older. To maintain a quiet, comfortable environment, children and additional guests are not permitted in the studio.
Please make any necessary arrangements before your appointment.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Sweet 2B Sugared is committed to providing a respectful, safe, and professional environment. Inappropriate comments, harassment, sexual misconduct, threatening behavior, or disrespect toward the service provider will not be tolerated. Services may be stopped immediately, and future appointments may be refused. Depending on the circumstances, the full scheduled service amount may still be charged.
SERVICE PRICING & PAYMENTS
Service prices and availability are subject to change. Current pricing is displayed through the online booking system. Any adjustments to your scheduled treatment will be discussed before proceeding. Payment is due in full at the conclusion of your appointment. Major credit and debit cards are accepted. Cash payments are welcome; exact change is appreciated. Outstanding balances must be resolved before additional appointments can be scheduled.
REFUNDS, PRODUCTS & GIFT CERTIFICATES
Completed services are non-refundable. Retail products, packages, promotions, and prepaid services are subject to the terms disclosed at purchase and applicable law.
If you have a concern regarding your service or purchase, please contact me directly so it can be reviewed. Gift certificates are subject to their stated terms and applicable law.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is always appreciated but never required. The greatest compliment is your continued trust, referrals, and support of my small business.
CELL PHONES & STUDIO ATMOSPHERE
To help maintain a relaxing environment, please silence your phone during your appointment. If you need to take an important call, please let me know. Extended interruptions may reduce the time available for your service.
ALCOHOL & IMPAIRMENT
For your safety, services cannot be performed when a client appears impaired by alcohol or other substances. Appointments may be canceled if impairment affects the ability to provide treatment safely or obtain informed consent. Applicable cancellation fees may apply.

By booking an appointment with Sweet 2B Sugared, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the studio’s policies and procedures, including applicable cancellation, late arrival, and no-show fees.
